Pune: Former judge of the Supreme Court, Justice P B Sawant, passed away at his residence in Pune on Monday morning due to age related issues. He was 91.
He did his law studies from Mumbai University and practised law in the Bombay high court and the Supreme Court on the civil and criminal sides, besides Constitutional, election, cooperation and a range of other matters.
As a judge of the Supreme Court, he was associated with several landmark rulings.
